Ralph Macchio’s children had close to zero familiarity with their dad’s time at the center of attention. While showing up on Great Morning America on Monday, the Cobra Kai entertainer, 60, shared a comical tale about when his child was a kid and first understood his father’s distinguishing strength in The Karate Youngster.

“In the past they understood our dislike different fathers,” he said of his two children, child Daniel, 26, and girl Julia, 30.  “Why are individuals remaining on one leg and putting their arms up, what’s the significance here?”  Macchio proceeded to share that when Daniel was 5 years of age, he had his originally spat with his father’s fame.

“My mother probably sent over a receptacle brimming with youngster magazines from some time ago, and [Daniel] comes in the house not understanding what’s happening, he’s like, ‘Father was tremendous and we missed it!’ ” Macchio said with a chuckle. “Presently Father is semi colossal and they’re seeing it,” he said of his children seeing him on Cobra Kai.

Discussing his work on Cobra Kai, Netflix’s Karate Youngster spin-off series, Macchio said it’s “superb to the point that both of his children are into the show. The entertainer imparts his two children to spouse Phyllis Fierro.

“My children that are presently youthful grown-ups, they champion the show and they watch it with their companions and they’re encountering the entire thing,” he shared.

Macchio’s girl Julia even showed up in the series, joining the establishment in season 4 as Daniel LaRusso’s (Macchio) cousin Vanessa LaRusso, who gives him and his significant other Amanda (Courtney Henggeler) a fast illustration in nurturing.
